Tiger Youth Foundation (TYF) founded by Daanish Shastri, aims at reaching out to the youth of India to spread awareness about the situation of tigers in the country and carrying out appropriate actions for the same.

Description

The Tiger Youth Foundation aims at reaching out to youth of the country to spread awareness of the dwindling situation of tigers in our country. Tigers are being poached in various parts of the country for their skins and body parts. I, Arjun Deep Singh Juneja, have made a synopsis of the situation.
The skin and body parts are then being sent to China where there is a demand for animal skins and animal parts where there is misconception that the parts contain medicinal remedies. Since ancient times, animal parts have been believed to have medicinal value; which has never been proved. People in Tibet wear tiger and leopard skins to boost their position in the social hierarchy.
The two main problems faced by tigers are :
1) Animal-Man Conflict
2) Poaching
These problems are of primary importance as far as the welfare of tigers is concerned.
Our Govt. should take effective steps against poaching which will help in reduction of poaching, which will ultimately lead to its end
